We provide low-cost spay/neuter service for Nelson County resident’s dogs and cats. This service is offered in collaboration with Lynchburg Humane Society’s Spay/Neuter Clinic. Pre-Surgery Instructions
- Do not feed your pet anything after dinner the night before surgery. Providing water is acceptable.
- Dogs: All dogs must wear a collar and be on a leash. Crates will be provided for transportation.
- Cats: Each cat must be in a individual carrier. Please line the carrier with a towel and label it with the owner’s name, phone number, pet’s name, and pet’s description.
